Part 1 — Terms of Use
Who we are
This website is operated by 3-Conn Metal Works Sdn Bhd (SSM No. 482641-U), trading as Staircase Malaysia, a metal fabricator with an office at 40-01-01 Lorong Batu Nilam 4A, Bandar Bukit Tinggi 1, 41200 Klang, Selangor, Malaysia, and a factory at 300 Jalan Gendang/KS2, 41200 Klang. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean 3-Conn Metal Works Sdn Bhd.
What these terms cover
Part 1 applies to your use of this website. Part 2 sets out the terms on which we visit, quote for, fabricate and install staircases, railings, handrails, grilles, gates, fencing, awnings, canopies and platforms. By using the website you accept Part 1; by asking us to visit or quote, you accept Part 2.
Using the website
You may browse this website and use the contact routes on it to reach us. The photographs on this website are of our own installations and are our property. You may not copy, reproduce or reuse them, or the text on this website, for any purpose other than contacting us, without our written permission.
Information on the website
We keep the information on this website accurate and current, and we correct it when we find an error. The products shown are examples of what our workshop makes; what suits a particular staircase or opening is decided at the site visit.
Quotations
No price appears on this website. We quote each job individually, in writing, after the free site visit, and only that written quotation describes the scope, price and terms of a particular job. Nothing on this website is a quotation or an offer to supply at a particular price.
Contacting us through WhatsApp, telephone and email
The WhatsApp, telephone and email routes on this website are operated by third parties: Meta Platforms for WhatsApp, your telephone carrier, and your email provider. Their terms and privacy policies apply to anything you send through them, including any photograph you send us. This website itself collects, stores and processes no personal information. It has no forms, sets no cookies, runs no scripts and uses no analytics.
Links to other websites
Links to Google Maps, Facebook, Instagram and our own catalogue website are provided so you can find us and see more of our work. We are not responsible for the content or the practices of those websites.
Liability
We are not liable for any loss arising from your use of this website or from your reliance on general information on it. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Malaysian law that cannot lawfully be limited, including under the Consumer Protection Act 1999.
Changes
We may change this website and these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page shows when the terms were last changed.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.

Part 2 — Service Terms
The photograph and the recommendation
You may send us a photograph of the staircase area, opening or frontage before anything else. We use it to recommend a design and materials. A recommendation is advice to help you choose; it is not a quotation and does not commit either of us.
The site visit
We visit the property at a time you choose, look at the staircase or opening, take the measurements ourselves and advise on the design, the material and the finish. The visit is free. It covers the areas you ask us to look at, on the day and in the condition we find them.
The quotation
After the visit we give you a written quotation. It describes what we will fabricate and install — the structure, the railing or handrail, the material, the finish, the infill and the fixings — the price, and the payment terms that apply to that job. The quotation is free. Only that quotation, once you accept it, forms the agreement for the work. Anything not listed in it is not included.
Scope and additional work
We carry out the work described in the accepted quotation. If, once work has started, we find that more is needed — a wall that will not take a fixing, a floor that must be built up before a post can be set, a run longer than measured because the site has changed — we will tell you before doing anything about it and quote for it separately. Additional work is only carried out with your agreement.
What we need from you
Safe access to the property on the day of the visit and the days of installation; the staircase, opening or frontage cleared; and a contact who can make decisions about the job while we are on site.
Fabrication and installation
We fabricate the work in our own workshop in Klang to the design and measurements in the quotation, and the same team installs it on site. We protect the surrounding finishes while we work and leave the site clear when we leave.
Completion
When the installation is finished we walk it through with you. If anything in the agreed scope is incomplete, or is not as quoted, tell us then and we will put it right.
After the work is finished
Contact us on WhatsApp at 014-982 2455 or at sales@3conn.com.my if anything about the work needs our attention, and we will arrange to look at it. Nothing in these service terms limits any right you have under Malaysian law that cannot lawfully be limited.
Photographs of our work
We photograph our own installations for our records and, from time to time, publish them on this website and our Facebook and Instagram pages, as with the photographs already on this website. We do not publish your name or your address. If you would prefer that we do not photograph the work at your property, or do not publish photographs of it, tell us before installation and we will not.
Cancellation
You may cancel a site visit at any time before it takes place, at no cost. If you wish to cancel after accepting a quotation, tell us as soon as possible; any steel, timber or glass already cut or bought for your job, and any work already carried out, will be charged as set out in the quotation.
